Key Features of the TSC TDP-324 Desktop Printer
The TSC TDP-324 direct thermal is a rugged 2-inch printer. Barcode Southwest recommends this series for four reasons:
The first feature is its small size. This 4.29″ X 8.23″ printer uses very little valuable work space.
A second important feature is the ease of label loading. The clamshell design requires three easy steps:
- First, open the cover and drop the labels into the media holder.
- Next, bring the labels to the front of the printer.
- Third, close and calibrate.
NO print ribbons are required!
A third key feature is the print capabilities.
- This printer can print up to 4 inches per second (ips).
- In addition to the print speed, this 2″ printer features a 300 dots per inch resolution.
- Finally, this printer works well with the following types of labels (print media):
- Continuous feed (with a maximum length of 40″ per label).

- Wristband (with outside wind).
The fourth feature is 1-D and 2-D barcode print capability.
