Key Features of the Printronix T6000 Series Industrial Thermal Printers
User-Friendly
This barcode printer series has four great features.
- To begin with, the die-cast aluminum frame makes this printer sturdy and long-lasting.
- The second feature is the side opening door which allows easy loading of label and ribbon materials.
- As a third feature, the large side window allows a quick and easy monitoring of both label material and printer ribbon.
- This window allows the user a quick “visual” of remaining material.
- The user can easily see when material should be replaced. Most importantly, a print run will never stop in mid-stream.
- The final user-friendly feature is the media loading guides. These guides are found on the inside cover of all Printronix printers.
- These guides increase production time by eliminating loading errors with label and ribbon materials.
Media Capabilities
To better meet the print needs of your company, the Printronix T6000 series of thermal printers are available in two maximum print widths:
- 4.5 inches.
- 6.8 inches.
Each printer supports supports an 8″ OD full label roll capacity.
Productivity is increased with a maximum ribbon roll length up to 1,968′ on a one-inch core. The Printronix T6000 series of thermal printers work with wax, wax/resin or resin ribbons.
Standard media printing types include:
- Die Cut Rolls.
- Continuous.
- Fan Fold.
- Paper.
- Tag.
- Synthetic Material.
Print Speeds
This printer wastes no valuable production time.
- The 4′ printer generates 14 inches per second (IPS) at 203 dots per inch.
- The 6″ printer has a can print up to 12 IPS at 203 dots per inch.
Printronix T6000 industrial barcode printers have the capability to print both thermal transfer and direct thermal print modes.
